Based in Geneva, Illinois, I am an acrylic painter and charcoal artist whose work centers on capturing the energy, texture, and character of the natural world. With a Bachelor of Science in Biology, I bring a thoughtful understanding of form and structure to my subjects, though my primary focus is creating visually compelling, expressive pieces that stand on their own as works of art.

I am also a professional pumpkin carver. The pumpkins I carve are artificial so they can be displayed every year. I am available year round for commissions.

In addition to my fine art practice, I have professional experience in scientific illustration, including work as an illustrator for Brookfield Zoo. This background informs my attention to detail and observational accuracy, while supporting a broader artistic practice that bridges technical precision with expressive visual storytelling.
